Red Bell Pepper Soup

The red bell pepper soup claims to be low in calories with restrictions on the usage of cream and oil of course. Not only do the bell peppers have a host of health benefits, the pulp in the soup fulfils your sense of hunger too.



  • 8 oz red bell peppers
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 ½ cups strained canned tomatoes.
  • Vegetable broth (3 cups)
  • 3 tablespoon chopped basils
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
    • Method:

      Place red bell peppers, onions, garlic, jalapeno and tomatoes in a saucepan with vegetable broth and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once the veggies are tender, puree it in a blender. Cool the soup and add the fresh herbs.
